NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT

With winter weather approaching, I've been thinking of outdoor activities to do with Max before we're stuck indoors. He loves being outside and is happiest when he's covered in dirt, collecting rocks in the bright sunshine. So a nature scavenger hunt seemed to be the perfect fit for him!

We decided to reuse an egg carton so that all his treasures would be easily carried and not lost (*cue inevitable meltdown if / when I lose his favorite rock). We grabbed a magnifying glass and some handy garden shears to cut any flowers we wanted to keep. Off we went to explore the nearest forest!

Max loved our day spent outdoors, and so did we. There's nothing I love more than a day with these two. I highly recommend a nature scavenger hunt before winter hits!
