EARLY SUMMER NIGHTS

We went to our local beach the other night and had a little taste of summer!
The kids splashed around in the water, explored rock pools,
and hung out in their special little tree hideout.

I’m so looking forward to long summer nights, exploring rock pools and splashing in the water. We have a few trips planned over the summer (one camping trip while I’m 7 months pregnant…we’ll see how that goes!).

Cora and Max are both happiest when they’re outdoors and the beach has proven to be a favorite for all of us. It will be even more special when baby #3 arrives and we can introduce him or her to our favorite spots. I’m 24 weeks along now, and this pregnancy has been flying by. I was pretty exhausted and nauseous during the first trimester but I have gotten some energy (and my appetite) back recently.

Cora has been giving the baby hugs and kisses and calling it cute already! She’ll be an amazing big sister. And Max is switching between whether he wants another baby sister or a baby brother. I think he likes the idea of being the only boy, but he also mentioned wanting a baby brother; only time will tell!
