CHRISTMAS TREE TRAIN
Steam train, dream train!
Max's dream come true / the coolest way to get a Christmas tree!
We woke up early and drove an hour to Ronks, PA where we boarded a beautiful old steam train. We were some of the first people on board, excited to start our journey. The train quickly filled up and off we went to a small field filled with beautiful evergreens. We walked around until we found the one - a gorgeous douglas fir ready to be strung with white twinkling lights and topped with my grandparents' Christmas star. We sipped hot chocolate while we watched our tree get wrapped up and loaded onto a flatbed train car. We hopped back on the train and headed to the station with our new tree.
