A PERFECT FAMILY MORNING

A perfectly simple morning that I loved.

We decided to do a Saturday morning family adventure and it was exactly what we needed:
some simple time together with no agenda, beautiful weather, and lots of laughter.

We stopped at a bakery for meat pies and donuts. It felt like a very Kiwi moment- sitting barefoot eating meat pies in the beautiful sunshine. We sat on a little bench and planned our next stop.

We decided on a beautiful place called Shakespeare Regional Park. There are hiking trails, a lookout with views of the ocean on all sides, and so. many. sheep. Which meant a lot of sheep poop that Max was trying sooo hard to avoid! He started doing this hilarious zig-zag run to avoid the piles of poo haha!

We spent a few hours running through the forests and fields, ending up at the gorgeous lookout high above the ocean.

I can’t wait for more days like this. Summer is quickly approaching and we already have a few camping trips planned! There’s nothing better than simple days spent with the people you love most. Happy weekend!
